The story of the invention of the gramophone and the phonograph is told using original talking machines, including the biggest horn gramophone ever made.
Students will hear early cylinder and disc records.
They can record their voice on a cylinder record and hear it played back on a phonograph, and
They can make a Crank-o-Phone; a working hand-cranked horn gramophone, to keep.
