Year 9 to Year 12
Movie magic

 		Students will experience some of the many media technologies that have been used in the home over the past 150 years.

Special emphasis will be given to the impact each technological innovation has had on our leisure time. It includes
  • Music boxes
  • Phenakistoscope and Mutoscope
  • Stereoscopes and Graphoscopes
  • Cylinder and disc record players
  • Early photographic media
  • Wire and tape recorders
  • Early television and home movies
Each of these forms of media is demonstrated, and a number of them can be used by the visitor.
