This presentation traces
the early history of photography. It explains the Science involved in
many of the processes. Examples demonstrated include
- Daguerreotype
- Ambrotype
- Callotype
- Tin type
- Albumen and collodion photographic materials
- Early colour processes such as Autochrome
It also refers to the development of the camera and the
development of the flash. In each case the Science involved is
explained.
