Program 1. Light and Sound (Energy and Change)

This 2 hour program program includes:

essential science content for the understanding of light and sound concepts,
essential science content for the understanding of sight and hearing,
ideas and activities for use in teaching light and sound
identification of science outcome levels as applied to light and sound
scientific literacy in the science curriculum.

The program also includes information about of the various educational programs offered by the Fremantle Light and Sound Discovery Centre.
Cost is $10 per person.

Program 2. How Changes in Technology Have Changed The Way We Teach

The Fremantle Light and Sound Discovery Centre offers this stimulating and sometimes amusing P.D. presentation (with demonstrations) which illustrates how changes in technology (1890 - 1990) have altered the way teachers operate in the class room. This P.D. program is available in the centre, or it can be presented in your school at a professional development staff meeting. It offers a stimulating and motivating introduction to any changes which are about to occur in your school.
